Graduation is over! You're done and you've got some really cool letters to go after your name now. If you're like most of the new graduates I know - this is a time of excitement and.... tremendous fear, apprehension and a lot of ok....now what?
Michigan LLPC supervision expectations; what to expect during supervision with the michigan clinical supervisor
Before you begin supervision with me, expect to receive several documents to review and sign; one of which is the required supervisory disclosure statement that describes my background and qualifications. Additionally - you’ll receive an outline of what I expect you to learn, develop and practice while holding your LLPC. As an LLPC under my supervision, I expect that you will gain experience in the following:
Michigan requirements for full LPC licensure; how to make LLPC supervision succesful
n the state of Michigan, the LLPC must complete a total of 3,000 hours of post-degree mental health service in not less than a 2 year period. 100 of these hours must be spent face to face with their clinical supervisor. At 1 hour of supervision per week, for approximately 100 weeks, you as an LLPC will spend almost 2 years with your supervisor. Make sure this person is someone you can trust, rely on, and who shares your dedication to the practice of professional counseling.
